I've spent many a year complaining about the sweaty trauma that is summer in Southern Ontario, but this year has to be just about the worst I've ever experienced. In the past couple of weeks there's been about zero respite from the sweating heat, not even that one time this month it actually rained a halfway decent amount. I figure by the time this summer's through, I'll have sweated off at least ten pounds of bodily fluid. And that'll be a mental graphic you'll take to your graves, I'm sure.

I must say that being here in sunny, humid SoFla I understand and empathize.
Five day forecast: 90-95 degrees fahrenheit, 1000% relative humidity, UV index 9 (high)

It's basically like living in a steam room for 9 months out of the year...

Ugh, makes ya want to move somewhere beyond the Arctic Circle, doesn't it?

Strange. It hasn't been that hot here (until this week). I hear Minnesota was really bad last week, and we usually get whatever they've got, a day or so later.

We've had a month of unbearable heat, and no rain. It's pleasant enough right now - a little respite - but I doubt it'll last long.

It's been hot here, but it's a Drrrrrry heat. Usually. We've had some oddly humid days, that promised rain, but failed to follow through. And not nearly enough of our 3:15 thundershowers that are typical of the semi-arid desert I call home. In fact, remarkably few this year. Only one tornado warning that I can remember so far this summer. huh...

Gawd I want some rain so badly. We haven't had nearly enough - only one real pour in a month.
